Costas Matheou

Costas Matheou is a Cyprus-licensed insurance agent and the co-founder of DigiCare Insurance. He has spent years working across Cyprus motor, health, property, and business insurance lines, building working relationships with the major Cyprus carriers — including AIG Cyprus, Eurosure, Cosmos, Trust, AKD, and SoEasy. His licensed agent business, registered as Costas Matheou Insurance Agent, is the legal entity that backs DigiCare and the regulatory chain behind every policy the firm places.

As a licensed insurance agent in Cyprus, Costas operates under the supervision of the Cyprus Insurance Companies Control Service (ICCS), the body within the Cyprus Ministry of Finance that acts as the country's Superintendent of Insurance. His practice complies with the EU Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), which governs how policies are sold across the European Union, what disclosures clients receive before signing, and how complaints are escalated. Each policy DigiCare issues is placed under this regulated framework.

Costas's approach to insurance rests on three principles: explain the policy in plain language before the client signs, place each client with the carrier whose product genuinely fits their profile, and stay reachable when a claim is filed.
