Paul Bendzik

Paul co-founded DigiCare Insurance after years of watching Cyprus expats struggle with policies they couldn't read in their own language and agencies that disappeared the moment a claim got complicated. He helped build DigiCare as the kind of insurance service he wished his own family had access to: one that compares policies across multiple insurers, handles documentation in English, Russian, and Greek, and stays on the file from quote to settlement.

Paul built DigiCare's processes from the ground up — the online quote workflow, the multilingual claims handling, the renewal tracking, and the documentation pipeline. DigiCare works with the major Cyprus motor and health insurers, including AIG Cyprus, Eurosure, Cosmos, Trust, and others, and matches the right policy to each customer's profile. When the answer is 'this insurer is cheaper but the cover is thinner,' Paul says so.

A large part of Paul's work is implementing AI and automation across DigiCare's day-to-day operations. He has built tools that read every Cyprus insurer's Insurance Product Information Document (IPID), surface real differences between policies, and translate complex insurance language into plain English, Russian, and Greek. The DigiCare blog itself is a downstream product of this work: every comparison article is grounded in primary-source IPID data.

DigiCare was founded by Paul and Costas Matheou. Paul leads operations, technology, and the editorial side of the business. Costas is the firm's licensed insurance professional and holds DigiCare's regulatory standing. Together they serve clients across Cyprus and abroad — Paul writes the playbook and the platform, Costas signs the policies.
